Refund and Return Policy

Refunds and returns

Island Workflow does not offer refunds.

Please be certain you want what you are buying before you complete checkout. Every Island Workflow purchase represents real work that starts as soon as the order is placed.

Why we do not offer refunds

Once a purchase is made, work begins immediately: scheduling, intake, assessment preparation, custom builds, hardware allocation, configuration, integrations, and ongoing operations. Once that work is in motion, it cannot be returned in any meaningful sense.

  • Readiness Sessions are time-bound discovery and planning engagements. Once we begin preparing your assessment, the work has been delivered.
  • Full Builds are custom-configured systems. They are scoped, built, and integrated for your specific workflow and cannot be resold to another business.
  • Remote Support is time-billed expert work. Once an engagement begins, the time has been spent.
  • Managed AI Runtime is a monthly operating service that is provisioned and metered from the moment it begins. Past months reflect work already done and resources already consumed.

How to be confident before you buy

We strongly encourage every prospective customer to start with a Claw Readiness Session. The Readiness Session is specifically designed so you know what you are getting before committing to a Full Build:

  • We learn your business, your workflows, and where automation actually helps.
  • You get a written launch assessment of recommended Claw type, integrations, runtime package fit, and scope.
  • You can decide to proceed, pause, or walk away with the assessment.

This is why our checkout requires a Readiness Session before any Full Build can be added. We want every Full Build customer to know exactly what their system will and will not do, on paper, before they pay for the build.

Cancellations and changes

  • Readiness Sessions: once paid, the slot is reserved and intake preparation begins. Rescheduling once in good faith is generally fine; no-shows and repeat cancellations are not refundable.
  • Full Builds: once the order is placed and we begin scoping and procurement, the build is in motion and cannot be cancelled for a refund. Material scope changes mid-build may be quoted as additional work.
  • Managed AI Runtime: monthly. You can cancel future months at any time by contacting us. We do not refund the current month or any past month.
  • Remote Support: invoiced after the work. You can cancel a pre-authorized time block before any time is used. Time already spent is not refundable.

What is not covered by “no refunds”

This policy does not waive your statutory rights under Canadian consumer protection law where those rights apply, and it does not override any specific written warranty or service-level commitment we have given you in a signed agreement. If something we built or operated is materially broken or not delivered as scoped, contact us first; we resolve those situations by fixing or re-doing the work, not by issuing refunds.

If something goes wrong

Talk to us. Email [email protected] or use the Contact page. We would rather fix a real problem than have an unhappy customer.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a payment-provider chargeback instead of contacting us first, we will respond with a copy of this policy, the order record, and any deliverables provided. We retain the right to pause or terminate ongoing services for any account in active chargeback dispute.
